Abstract:

The paper first introduced the general situation of China's agricultural products trade, and then analyzed the Sino-African agricultural products trade from the aspects of general trade flows, product structure and market structure, and finally discussed the challenges and prospect of agricultural products trade between China and Africa. The results indicated that the growth rate of Sino-African agricultural products trade was faster than that of China's total agricultural products trade, and Africa's proportion in China's agricultural products trade has been on the rise. Both of product structure and market structure of Sino-African agricultural products trade have enjoyed high concentration. Though agricultural products trade between China and Africa is still facing some challenges, there exist also many advantages; therefore, Sino-African agricultural products trade has a promising prospect in the future.
